Zipper Ends

This is a quick, easy and versatile project to add a little style to your zipper, strap or ribbon ends.  There are 7 different designs in two sizes each - the larger size fits the #4.5 and #5 handbag zippers (1 1/4" wide) and strap/webbing ends, and the smaller size fits the #3 dress zippers (1"wide) and ribbon or small strap ends.  You can even add a split ring or swivel hook to the tab.  Some of them match the tags from the Urban Bag Tags set.

They can be stitched onto vinyl, cork, leather, pleather, or just about any no-fray fabric. They can be embellished with hotfix crystals, rivets or brads.  To attach the tabs to the zipper/strap/ribbon ends, you can use hot glue, quick dry tacky glue, or contact cement.

Each tab has between 500 and 1200 stitches each and each one is created in two color stops: the outline stitches first, then the center detail.  You can also substitute a small design from your stash or add a monogram to any of the tabs just by replacing the second color stop.

Please note these are machine embroidery in the hoop (ITH) designs, not sewing patterns, and they can only be used with an embroidery machine.
