This set of notebook covers was a customer request for a notebook cover that can be colored to be used by her Girl Guide troupe to log their progress on their quests for badges! The covers are all made in a coloring-book style so the girls (or boys) can personalize them with markers. Because they are so quick and easy to stitch, and fun and functional for the kids, they are great for birthday parties, scavenger hunts, girl guides/boy scouts, and the aspiring journalist, geologist...
This set includes 3 different notebook covers in 3 sizes each (a total of 9 files) that fit a wide variety of notebooks which open at the top: the 5x7 hoop size fits notebooks up to 3" wide x 5" tall; the 6x8 hoop fits notebooks up to 3.5" wide x 5.5" tall; and the 8x10 hoop fits notebooks up to 4" wide by 6" tall. There is also a pocket on the inside of the covers and the medium and large versions can hold a pen in a pocket in the spine.
The notebooks each have three easy color stops and less than 4,000 stitches each so they stitch up very quickly and easily in a single hooping. They can be lined with fabric or felt and the cover is made from cotton, broadcloth or lightweight twill backed with a fusible interfacing so they can be colored with markers. They are completed 100% in the hoop and require no additional assembly except to cut them out.
Please note these are machine embroidery in the hoop (ITH) designs, not sewing patterns, and they can only be used with an embroidery machine.
