Practical Pretty Pin Cushions

This is a super-practical project - - - it has a flat base so it stand up straight and the base is weighted so it stays put when you stab it with a pin.  It also doubles as a sewing caddy - there's a little pocket to hold small non-pin things (like scissors, a needle threader and a seam ripper), a strip of lace or ribbon for clips, and a nifty handle to tote it over to your favorite chair so you have everything handy for those bits of hand sewing (or seam ripping).

Each pin cushion is created in a single hooping, all on the front of the hoop, and when it is finished stitching, cut it out, turn it right side out, stuff it, and sew the small turning hole closed, and it's done!

There are 3 different designs, a butterfly, flower and leaf, and each one stitches in the same 8 color stop sequence and have between 4500 and 5500 stitches each.  When finished they measure about 4.5" tall.  Detailed photo instructions are included as well as multiple different filling suggestions.

Please note that these are not finished products, they are machine embroidery files and an embroidery machine is needed to stitch them out. Some of the designs used in this set were created from purchased licensed clipart.
