Zipper Pulls

Set

This is a nifty little project to add some flair to your handbags, zipper pouches, and jackets - zipper pulls! Easy to create in less than 1,000 stitches in 1 to 3 color stops, they are stitched onto vinyl and attached to the zipper with either two small split rings or thin bathtub chain.  They are identical on the front or back so both sides look great.

Set 1 is stitched in a single color stop and a combo hooping option is included so you can stitch all five shapes in one hooping.  You can leave the pulls plain (they look great in real leather) or embellish them with brads (the prongs are hidden between the layers), hotfix crystals, or rivets.

Set 2 includes five different designs (leaf, cross, flower, fleur de lys, and star) and they stitch in two or three color stops.  Files are included to stitch each single design in a hoop or three of each in a 4x4 hoop if you need to do multiples.  They look great as they are or can be embellished with brads, rivets or crystals.

Finished size is between 1.5" and 2" tall (design file size is up to 3.8" tall).

This design requires two small split rings, one 1/2" and one smaller one, about 1/4" (keychain-style rings - jump rings can work, but they are not as secure as split rings); the second small ring is necessary so they hang nicely from the zipper.  Alternatively you can use thin bathtub chain found in the jewelry section of your local hobby shop.

They can be stitched onto any no-fray fabric - I tested marine vinyl, vinyl canvas, pigskin suede, pigskin leather, and leatherette and they all worked great.

Please note these are machine embroidery in the hoop (ITH) designs, not sewing patterns, and they can only be used with an embroidery machine.
