Hoop Size 5x7
In the hoop Advent Candles! Light one starting the fourth Sunday before Christmas and every Sunday add another one. Pluck a few fresh evergreens from a nearby tree to add around the base and you have a lovely festive table centerpiece. There is also a fifth 'Christ' candle with a large cross on it to light up on Christmas day. In addition to the tealight at the top, you can also put a battery-powered tealight inside the base so the whole candle glows.
These candle holders stitch up quick in a single 5x7 hooping, in 5 color stops, with between 4,700 and 7,000 stitches each (except the tallest candle, the 5th one, which stitches in the 6x10 hoop and has 10,000 stitches). To assemble them, just add a line of glue up the back, rinse them, let them dry and they are done.
They are stitched onto water-soluble stabilizer (wss) on regular (or glitter) felt with a piece of tulle or organza (glitter is nice) for the top and bottom trim. The smallest measures just over 1 inch tall and the largest is about 5 inches tall. I like to use silver and gold metallic thread for the main center designs on the candles.
Please note these are machine embroidery in the hoop (ITH) designs, not sewing patterns, and they can only be used with an embroidery machine.
